Where my NE fans at?!?! (Raises my hand HIGH lol) If you’re a die hard New Edition fan like you me, you’ll be happy to know that the story of the iconic “boys to men” singing group will be chronicled in a 3-part miniseries that will hit the small screen in 2016. BET has announced that it will produce the biopic that will highlight to musical journey of Michael Bivins, Ralph Tresvant, Ronnie DeVoe, Johnny Gill and Ricky Bell. No you didn’t read that wrong…I didn’t say Bobby Brown.
It’s been 5 weeks since Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in her bathtub. From day one her father, Bobby Brown, has made it very clear that he wants her privacy respected. Even going as far as to blast his own nephew, Jerrod Brown, for speaking to the media. So I’m pretty sure he is not pleased with the most recent media related development connected to his family. Rumor has it that Bobby’s sisters and brother are filming a reality show centered around their lives and the lives of their children. Although there has been no footage tape at the hospital, the show is reported to chronicle Bobbi Kristina’s health situation as well.
After being found face down and unconscious in her bathtub, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown remains in a medically induced coma and breathing only with the assistance of a ventilator. Relatives and fans are praying for the best, but it’s not looking good for Bobbi Kristina Houston Brown. A family source told People that the 21 year old has very little brain activity. According to a Massachusetts neurologist, Bobbi Kristina’s recovery depends on how much oxygen her brain was getting before she was found.
We knew that the Whitney biopic that was directed by Angela Bassett and aired last weekend on LifeTime would be centered around a certain part of Whitney Houston’s life and more specifically, her relationship with Bobby Brown, but sheesh. The film followed the lives of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown EQUALLY and probably should have been titled “Whitney and Bobby” instead.
It looks likes things are moving pretty quickly for the upcoming Whitney Houston biopic. The film that is being directed by Angela Bassett and will focus on the Whitney’s career and personal life during the 90’s has cast the leading roles. We found out a few weeks ago that Whitney will be played by Yaya DaCosta. New pics have surfaced with Yaya as Whitney with actor Arlen Escarpata who has been cast as Whitney’s ex-husband Bobby Brown.
