Keke Palmer’s star has been bright for a while, but now it’s almost blinding! The 20-year old mini mogul became the youngest talk show host in TV history when her show “Just Keke” aired on BET on June 30, 2014. Now she has been cast to play Cinderella in the new Broadway adaption of the story, making her the first African-American to play the role on Broadway. When chatting with Vanity Fair, Keke shared that the reality of her new role hasn’t really sunken
“I don’t really celebrate. And besides, I still don’t believe it is real!”
Keke will be also be joined by Sherri Shephard. Sherri, who is closing in on her last day as a co-host on The View, announced her participation yesterday during the show.
“I have some really exciting news because you know how I always say go towards the things that really scare you the most,” Shepherd said Tuesday on The View. “So I am so nervous and excited to announce my Broadway debut in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s…Cinderella. I am playing Madame, the evil stepmother to Cinderella.”
