[VIDEO] A&E’s “Biggie: The Life of Notorious B.I.G.” Premiere Date Set, “Who Killed Tupac?” Also In the Works

After the mixed emotions I experienced from the Tupac biopic, All Eyez On Me, I’m not quite sure how I feel about any more Biggie or Pac related productions being released. But I clearly don’t have a say in the matter. A&E will be releasing new projects based on the life and death of both of the historic rappers. The network’s documentary Biggie: The Life of Notorious B.I.G. is the first to be authorized by Biggie’s estate and promises to be the most personal and revealing biography about the late great Christopher Wallace. It will feature the personal accounts of his widow Faith Evans, mother Voletta Wollace, and friends, Sean “Diddy” combs, Sean “Jay Z” Carter and Nasir “Nas” Jones as well as members of Junior M.A.F.I.A. Biggie: The Life of Notorious B.I.G. is scheduled to premiere on September 4th at 8pm ET on A&E Network. Check out a clip below.

No premiere date has been set for the network’s Tupac project yet. However, some details have surfaced. Accordingly to reports, it will be titled Who Killed Tupac? and will air late 2017. It will be a limited series that will air in installments focusing on the investigation of the death of the prolific and influential rapper and actor 20 years later.

Will you be tuning in?
