Now the comedian is firing back through a lawsuit against a few of his accusers saying that they fabricated their stories of sexual assault. In a 89-page court filing obtained by the Daily News, Cosby named seven of his alleged victims as defendants accusing them all of defamation.

I was not prepared to see what I saw when I did my usual evening scroll on Twitter last night. I wish my social media romp did not include a clip of an officer flipping, choking and throwing a female high school student across a classroom before arresting her. The officer identified as Ben Fields, ordered 18 year old female student to stand up and leave the room. When she refused, Officer Fields stood over her desk and tells her, “either you’re coming with me or I’ll make you.” Then without hesitation, he grabs her, flips her over, and slams her onto the ground before tossing her across the room in front of a class full of other students and cuffing her.

Bill Cosby’s Image Is Shattered but the Impact of “The Cosby Show” is Etched in the Lives of Millions

Ebony magazine released the cover of their November 2015 issue amid both praise and criticism. The controversial cover and accompanying cover story compares the fictional and lovable husband and father,”Heathcliff Huxtable” of The Cosby Show to Bill Cosby, the comedian accused of drugging and raping more than 40 women over a span of four decades. It took me some time to sort through how I felt about the strong cover story and even had a few debates on the subject. I have now decided that I abhor the concept and am disappointed in the historical magazine for addressing this issue in this way.

In what is said to be the largest recall in American history, Takata, a Japanese company who makes automotive airbags, has recalled airbags in 33.8 million vehicles sold in the United States and Japan. While not directly acknowledging its products are defective, Takata issued a statement that indicated it is cooperating with the US government relating to the massive recall. What’s wrong with airbags? They are being recalled because their inflators can deploy too aggressively in an accident resulting in the spewing of plastic or metal shrapnel. Six deaths and over 100 injuries are blamed on faulty airbags. The deaths, five in the United States and one in Malaysia, all involved Hondas.

Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise men turn away wrath. -Proverbs 28:9

Depending on where you are in the world or what media outlets you frequent, you either think the city of Baltimore is full of fed up individuals seeking change or a bunch of savage animals taking advantage of a terrible situation.
